About

This is my website. It was salvaged and derived from my old domain, AKALIANE.net, which is now my collective portal. This is the new house of my general writing from introductory subject-specific entries, rants, and some other types of writing (and probably other stuff in the future). They can contain general articles, random entries, rants, and others. I will be very seldom in writing about what’s going on my life because for one thing, who cares about what’s happening in my life? On the other hand, writing about other stuff that interests or abhors me is a lot more fun and you won’t run out of ideas like that.

I use this site as my “playground” of sorts, mainly for writing random stuff for writing practice. It should have been Akaliane, but ADRIATASTIC! sounds a lot more “me”. I dabble with other websites hosted under other different domains, but all of them are still under construction. I hope that you may find something you may be interested in and if you do, be sure to holler and let me know. I’ll see if I can have my focus towards your suggestion instead.

BAREBONES:

CURRENT THEME

Brand-new year, brand-new theme. Hopefully I may make new layouts much later in the year but for now, this will be my layout for 2010. I was listening to music on my headphones while I was pondering on how my next layout would look like and from out on a whim I decided to give the new layout a bit of a listening to music via headphones while drifting away to a more majestic land theme.

The images I used for the main banner came from sxc.hu and moe.imouto.org (WARNING!! This gallery also has some 18+-yr-old-and up appropriate images if you know what I mean, so take heed with this warning…). The background image is that of Point Bonita Lighthouse located in Marin County, about an hour drive north from my town. The image of the girl with the headphones was illustrated by doujinshi artist Mahiro Otsuka. The girl isn’t particularly from an anime series, however I thought the image of the girl’s back with the headphones compliment the viewing of the lighthouse and of course, the mighty Pacific Ocean.

RESOURCES

I’m pretty sure there were more resource sites that I visited and took advantage of their tutorials but that’s all I can think of right now.
