J-Pop/Showbiz Male Idol Fan Girls are the WORSE…
We’re all fans of something, from our special interests, hobbies, and yes, people.
I am not denying that I was a major fan of J-Pop/Showbiz (in general, okay?
) three years ago, more specifically towards Johnny’s dudes and similar dudes like w-inds., Lead, and so on and so forth. Heck, I was one of the very few fans back in the early 2000’s who had a very huge fan site dedicated to Arashi and I often get recognized by fellow fans for that one fact. Of course, as I grew older, I also grew over it. I admit that I missed those days when I had full dedication in to maintaining the upkeep of my Arashi fan site. For those long time fans who don’t remember, does anyone remember amnosNET?
Anyway, though there are a lot of things I’ve missed of being a fan of Arashi (and just J-Pop/Showbiz in general), and yet there are a lot of things that I seriously don’t miss. The ones that I don’t miss is what I’m writing about in this entry.
Christmas is What is All About!
I will greet anyone a Merry Christmas in general. If that person is Jewish I would greet that person a Happy Hannukkah. If someone greets me a Happy Kwanzaa (which I believe isn’t likely to happen any time in my life because I don’t know anyone here in my area (and I have plenty of African-American friends) who celebrates Kwanzaa) then I would greet a Happy Kwanzaa instead. The only thing that I have a problem in some ways is saying “Happy Holidays.”

When I was introduced to Stephanie Meyer’s cult novel series Twilight, it was sometime back last year when some friends from the Code Lyoko fandom community were recommending me to read the book. I’ve always been open to any genre of books as long as they are written and give us readers the open mind to imagine how the story is like when seen in imaginary visual mode.
And when I learned and read the summary of Twilight it turned me off all of a sudden simply because of one thing. It was about vampires that were written and transformed in to hot, appeling, mysteriously sexy, and “flawless” youngsters that potential victims (read: humans) get attracted to and “fall victim” to their evil, deadly spells. My first impression even without reading the first chapter was “Are people insane to write evil creatures in to something alluring?”
Welcome to ADRIATASTIC!, a writing station where you'll probably do nothing but to read a lot of stuff and occasionally write something in response.
