Do Your Jeans Laundry the Environmentally-Friendly Way!
As of late, I have been undergoing through thorough training along with the rest of our department regarding the very popular and important concept of environmental sustainability. First module from last week we learned about the world as of today, its conditions, and all the problems that caused all the pollution and the signs that the earth would be dying out of its resources. For next week we’ll be covering industrial ecology and biomimicry.
Kamusta sa Buong Mundo!
Translation: Hello World!
About time. I finally put up a layout that’s more or less “original”. I discovered this new template-generating tool called Artisteer from my sister who was trying to put up a blog of her own but haven’t had the success. She refused to accept free hosting from any one of my domains for some reason and that she wanted to “connect” to her friends using those freebie hosted blogs like Livejournal or Vox (not that you can have your custom template using Vox anyway…). I decided to check it out and it was pretty easy to generate a template. Only thing that you have to do is to upload your own custom graphics or use one of the program’s defaults. I just couldn’t bother trying to learn WP’s structure markup no matter how many books I end up buying/checking out from the library about WP because I’ve got other interests to self-teach myself (mainly web programming, like PHP and Ruby (on Rails)) as well as other stuff that I’m working on, such as an original mystery fiction series that I was trying to write and complete. I’ll tell you more about the latter later.
You guessed it. I’m at work. I’m not exactly bored out of my mind but lately we haven’t gotten any site assignment packets as of late. It was one of those times where business was slow and there wasn’t much of a need to create a website for a particular business. I’ve made several sites ever since i started working for the company that I feel like I have established myself as a “professional” web designer.
I’ve got plans, so many plans, for the sites I’m working on and sites that I plan to build. Now all i have to do is find the energy, time, and inspiration to complete these tasks. Then I’ll be happy.
Welcome to ADRIATASTIC!, a writing station where you'll probably do nothing but to read a lot of stuff and occasionally write something in response. This blog is proudly being administered, designed, and owned by some two-bit designer, wanna-be web developer, amateur writer, cat lover, and tea adventurer named Adrimarie. [
